Citrus Matters to California.
And It's In Danger.
The most destructive citrus disease in the world has devastated some citrus-growing regions in the U.S. and now specifically threatens California. Introduced by the Asian citrus psyllid, a small insect that feeds on citrus trees, the disease spreads quickly, ravages citrus groves and has no cure. Prevention – controlling infestations of the insects – is the only option at this time.
Bayer knows how much citrus matters to us all, and that’s why we are raising awareness through the #CitrusMatters initiative in California.
Join us to help save California citrus by learning, sharing and taking action to prevent the spread of the disease Huanglongbing (HLB). Share #CitrusMatters with an image of your tree or one of the shareable images. To add a little extra, now through September 30, you could win great prizes for sharing why you love California citrus using the #CitrusMatters hashtag.
